Induspalma may modify this Privacy Policy at any time and without prior notice, in which case they will be updated in the section dedicated for such purposes on the Site. Websites Covered by this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all Induspalma Websites and domains and all GRUPO SID, including all regional or country-specific sites (collectively, the “Websites”). The Websites may provide links to third-party websites for the convenience and information of users. If users access such links, they will leave the Websites. GRUPO SID does not control such third-party websites or their privacy policies, which may differ from Induspalma’s privacy policies. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any personal data that you choose to disclose to unrelated third parties. Induspalma does not monitor or control the information collected by such third-party websites, or the privacy policies of third parties, and is not responsible for their practices or the content of their sites.

Type of Information Collected

In this Privacy Policy, “personal information” or “personal data” means information about an identifiable individual that is subject to protection under the law in the jurisdiction in which he or she resides. In some jurisdictions, “personal information” or “personal data” will not include business contact information.

The Websites collect information in a variety of different ways and for different purposes. If the user chooses to register on any of the Websites to receive updates from Induspalma, to administer their account and/or to use the Induspalma self-service portal, they will need to provide contact information (name, address, telephone number, email address, a unique username and password). Induspalma uses this information under its legitimate business interests to provide services and/or contact users about services on the Websites in which it has expressed interest.

The Websites automatically collect technical information about users’ visits (such as browser type, Internet service provider, platform type, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, referring/exit pages, operating system, and date/time stamp). Induspalma uses the information provided by users to improve the service offered, particularly to analyze trends, diagnose problems with the server and administer the Websites, track the movement and usage of users, and gather broad demographic information. Induspalma uses demographic information optionally provided by the user (such as type of business, business size, locations, etc.) to understand the needs and interests of users and provide them with a personalized experience on the Websites, as well as to process orders and allow participation in promotions (subject to the marketing preferences chosen by the user).

Telephone calls between users and GRUPO SID personnel may be recorded for training and quality purposes, in which case, the user will be informed at the beginning of the call.

Induspalma and the entire GRUPO SID do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 and does not direct the Websites to children under 13.

Use of Information

Induspalma will use the information provided by users to improve the service offered, particularly to allow users to request products or services, request information or subscribe to marketing or support materials, provide personalized customer service, know users’ commercial preferences, complete statistics, and internal or external audits, among other legal uses.

Induspalma may also use users’ contact information to send them information about other products and services of Induspalma and its affiliated companies.

For registration and/or processing of applications through the Websites, the user will be required to provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, billing address, and expiration date).

The financial information collected will only be used for billing purposes for the products and services provided, as well as for payment processing and fraud prevention.

Induspalma will not disclose to third parties the information shared by users except when requested to do so as a result of a court order or to assist in a law enforcement investigation, or when disclosure is necessary to protect Induspalma’s systems, business, or rights.

Electronic Communications

Once registered on the Site, Induspalma will send the user an email to verify their username and password, or to respond to queries raised by users, and to provide the services they request.

Subject to the marketing preferences chosen by the user, Induspalma will also send you information about new products, services, special savings, promotions and general information. If the user does not wish to receive this information, they may opt out of receiving future mailings.

While Induspalma does not provide user information to its business partners, it may send users offers on behalf of its business partners.

Users acknowledge that Induspalma collects information automatically using cookies and other digital markers.

Cookies and digital markers are small computer files that may be stored on your computer’s hard drive or embedded in pages of our website that allow us to identify you and track your visit to the website.  For example, when you book office space, we use cookies at checkout to track your order as you move through each step of the booking process. We may use third-party services to collect and process personal information through cookies and other digital markers on our behalf. If the user disables cookies in their browser, they may not be able to access certain areas of the Websites.

Choices and Exclusion

Users will have the option to receive a variety of information to complement the products and services provided by Induspalma and may subscribe to receive specific product and service information and marketing communications from Induspalma and the entire GRUPO SID.

Communications sent by Induspalma and the entire GRUPO SID to users may include information about new products, special offers, or an invitation to participate in market research. Keeping Your Information Safe

Induspalma does not guarantee the security of its servers. Users acknowledge that information provided by users through the Websites may be intercepted while being transmitted over the Internet. Induspalma ensures compliance with generally accepted industry technical standards to protect the personal data provided, both during transmission and after receipt.

Confidential information received (such as credit card information) through registration or order forms is encrypted using secure socket layer technology.

Where we process personal information for marketing purposes or with your consent, we process the data until you ask us to stop and for a short period after this (to enable us to implement your requests). We also keep a record that you have asked us not to send you direct marketing or to process your data indefinitely so that we can honor your request in the future. When we process personal information in connection with the performance of a contract or the provision of a service, or for a promotion or contest, we keep the information for six (6) years from the user’s last interaction with Induspalma, except for financial information that we keep for ten (10) years or where there is a legal obligation to keep the information for a longer period. Recordings of telephone calls and CCTV recordings will be retained as determined by Induspalma’s internal compliance procedures implemented from time to time.

Business Transition

If Induspalma undergoes a business transition or change of control, such as a merger and acquisition process by another company, or the sale of all or a portion of its assets, the retained personal information may be part of the transferred assets.
