At Induspalma Dominicana, we are dedicated to implementing responsible agricultural practices and optimizing our industrial processes to protect the environment. Our commitment to sustainability ensures high-quality palm oil production, promotes the well-being of local communities and preserves natural resources for future generations.

Sustainability is our engine to generate a positive impact on the world.

Combining nature with technology and innovation

Our plantations, which cover more than 6,000 hectares in the provinces of Monte Plata and Hato Mayor, are the result of years of studies and planning by international experts. Every detail has been carefully evaluated to ensure the viability and environmental impact of our operations. This approach allows us to preserve the natural wealth of the Caribbean, but also to optimize palm oil production, putting us on par with the world’s most advanced producers.

Induspalma’s commitment to sustainability and innovation is reflected in the generation of more than 600 jobs, benefiting hundreds of families and contributing to the socio-economic development of dozens of local communities. Our agro-industrial practices comply with the strictest environmental conservation standards, which has earned us several awards. By integrating cutting-edge technology with a deep respect for nature, we ensure a prosperous and sustainable future for our region and our planet.

Biodiversity and Barn Owl Conservation

Biodiversity and conservation are fundamental pillars of our operations. We make significant efforts to preserve the barn owl, a species that lives harmoniously among the palms we harvest in the Dominican Republic. We implement responsible agricultural practices and create safe habitats for these birds, mindful of their vital role in the local ecosystem. By protecting the barn owl, we contribute to the natural balance and demonstrate our commitment to sustainability and protection of biodiversity in our plantations.

At Induspalma we are proud standard bearers and participants in this program that provides students and schools with scholarships, infrastructure, and adequate school tools, which facilitate the teaching-learning process, and thus, contribute to equalizing opportunities to access quality education to promote inclusive and equitable quality training. In turn, it facilitates lifelong learning opportunities and improves living standards for all in support of sustainable development.
